Breakfast at hotel.Transfer from hotel to Railway Station on your own. Leave Rome to Venice by rail. The train tickets will be delivered at your hotel on arrival day. Upon arrival in Venice Santa Lucia Station, transfer on your own to your hotel. Aptly called the Queen of cities, Venice is a magical tapestry of Renaissance buildings perched on narrow canals with sleek gondolas gliding silently beneath ornate bridges. Balance of the day is at leisure. Rediscover romance in a gondola or take a “vaporetto” ride on the Grand Lagoon and mingle with the Venetians. Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 5 •VENICE
Breakfast at hotel. Full day free at leisure. Possibility of optional tours: Venice city tour with meeting point at San Marco square for your morning walking tour including visits to the golden Basilica of St. Mark and the Doge’s Palace (from outside) decorated by 16th century artists such as Titian and Tintoretto. Also view the Bridge of Sighs and Piombi Prison. Remainder of the day is free. Overnight at your hotel.
